The alarm on my CGM continued to beep and finally woke me up…it’s 4 AM…seriously…do I really have to wake up an down a glass of juice? Yup. If not, grab one of the GUs (20 grams of carbs) on my nightstand. Get that glucose up, I want to go back to sleep! Hours later, I feel the aftermath of having my glucose dip to a low and then bringing it up to a higher level than needed, combined with being woken up my a very annoying beeping sound, all before breakfast. It’s so challenging, it really is. To think about how complex the balancing act is just makes me more exhausted…forget about it and move on…that’s the motto. It’s still there though…I wish it would go away. That’s not gonna happen. Thank goodness for juice.
