Similar to the way you and I feel when our glucose levels are constantly fluctuating is, well, June Gloom. It happens every June here in Southern California, especially if you live near the ocean. Yes indeed, the gloomy, grey skies, the inconsistent temperatures…chilly in the morning and with gloomy, grey skies shadowing overhead. In the afternoon, sometimes the sun does come out – – very similar to our glucose levels balancing out to a normal level after a morning of highs and/or lows…it’s a lot like June Gloom, diabetes that is. Most of the time for myself and, hopefully for you and I, June Gloom is only a temporary period of time…you and I both know that, eventually, July will be here soon.
